We got Christmas pictures done on Friday. I think that they turned out pretty cute! Both of the kids were really good except for one incident. Ashton has been starting to notice the differences in people around him, so he has pretty much humiliated me on numerous occasions by pointing out heavier set people, asking my doctor why he was brown, these types of things. So there was the sweetest little girl at the picture place that was the same old as Ellie so I was talking to her mom. The little girl had a large birth mark on her face and I should have thought about little stinker Ashton. So of course he says, "Mom what's that on her face." The woman didn't hear him and I ignored him hoping that he wouldn't say anything again, but oh no. He then said "Mom, MOM WHAT IS ON HER FACE." To my great fortune, the woman didn't hear again so I just said I think that we were going to wait outside because it is was so lovely out there. This was a lie because it was pouring rain and if I remember correctly it felt about 10 degrees below zero with the windchill factor. People inside Kiddie Kandids were staring at me like, why does that crazy lady have those poor children outside in weather like this. Little do they know about what I have to do to keep any remaining dignity that I have. Other than that, things went just lovely.

Brother and Sister
I love to watch Ashton and Ellie grow together as siblings, they are so funny! Ashton loves to watch Curious George while I make his breakfast in the mornings. He now has Ellie loving it too! They snuggle up on our chair, with our cat of course, and watch it together. Ashton tells me, "Mom, Ellie wants to watch George now." Priceless! My favorite thing about this picture is that Ellie looks like she totally knows what is happening on Curious George, I think that she is pretending for Ashton's sake!

Fun in the Snow!
We were so excited to wake up to snow this morning! Brian got a chance to try out his new four wheeler while Ashton played all day in the snow! I thought he would get cold but he only came in for a nap and some lunch and other than that he was out in the snow with Dad. I tried taking little Ellie out there, but she decided that she would rather stay inside where it was warm!
